PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Mari Lwyd is a Welsh folk custom that involves a horse’s skull mounted on a pole and carried by an individual hidden under a sackcloth. The tradition was performed at Christmas time by groups of men who would accompany the horse on its travels around the local area, and although the makeup of such groups varied, they typically included an individual to carry the horse, a leader, and individuals dressed as stock characters such as Punch and Judy.

Inspired by this tradition, we have created a fragrance that captures the essence of the Mari Lwyd. Our fragrance is a harmonious blend of orange spice, holiday hearth, fir, pine, and spirits. The scent of orange spice evokes the warmth and comfort of the holiday season, while the aroma of holiday hearth brings to mind the crackling of a cozy fire. The notes of fir and pine transport you to a winter forest, while the hint of spirits adds a touch of mystery and intrigue.

Jojoba oil mimics your skin’s natural oils for easy absorption, avocado oil softens cuticles and strengthens nails, while grapeseed oil, rich in vitamins, promotes growth and healthy nail beds. Though we use skin-safe oils, we recommend doing a patch test before use to ensure there are no allergic reactions or irritation.
